The brief
Echuca Town and Country Supplies’ image was very dated. They were moving to new premises and the brand no longer served to accurately portray the size or sophistication of the business. This needed to be repaired.
Our creative process
We started with a new name. The old name was very long and convoluted. We did away with it in favour of ‘Kober’, which was an original concept that Kingfisher developed based on research into the ag industry and a desire to position the company as the go-to source for agricultural intelligence. The name is a construct derived from the name of the town where a series of seminal agricultural conferences took place in Europe in the early 20th century. The icon was then constructed from agricultural cogs of varying sizes combining into the outline of a lightbulb.
Words from the client
Our business was 22 years old when we rebranded. There were parts of it that were stale and the new brand gave us a far more professional image, and I can see it even in our staff pride and old clients that re-engaged with us. Kingfisher has been a great sounding board for all our marketing – it’s just now far more cohesive and professional.
